Dogs for Kids with Disabilities (A Friend for Archie)
Hello to
all my lovely fans I need to ask a favor. I will be holding an online
Auction in 7 weeks and would love your support. My husband and I are
raising funds to get a therapy dog for our 3 year old son who has ASD
(Austism Spectrum disorder) and we need to raise a considerable amount
of money to be able to get a therapy dog placed.
There are many hours of
training so the dog placed with us will be any where from 6-12 months
and we are on the waiting list. It may be up to 18 months before we add a
dog to our family as the process is long and Archie could meet quite a
few dogs before the right one comes along as part of the process is a
bond between dog and child.
